Graduation Day

I’ve always considered myself a pretty savvy computer user. I was was writing BASIC programs on my Commodore 64 at age 12. At 15 I had bought and self-installed a 2600 baud modem in the family’s 386 PC. I was on the internet in 1994 at age 18, the dorms at SFSU having, just the previous summer, installed a T1 line in every room.
